Site Superintendent / Working Foreman
Excalibur Land Services is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent / Working Foreman to lead excavation, site development and land clearing projects throughout Southern Indiana and Kentucky.
This is a working leadership position.
You'll coordinate projects, supervise crews, communicate with customers and inspectors, and operate equipment when necessary.
We are looking for someone who naturally sees problems before they happen and knows how to keep projects moving.
Responsibilities
• Assist with forestry mulching and land clearing operations when needed.
• Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers, compact track loaders and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help solve problems before they become delays.
• Perform land clearing, grading, site preparation, drainage installation, utility excavation, demolition and finish work.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
• Read construction plans, grades and elevations.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Operate GPS machine control systems or be willing to learn.
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of safety and quality.
• Perform daily inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
• 7–10 years of excavation/site development experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of grading and utilities.
• GPS machine control experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability.
• CDL preferred.
